While we might question the thinking behind calling a movie We Are Unsatisfied – we can just picture the review headlines if it doesn't turn out well – the new comedy has at least locked down a quality cast. Laugh-generating legend Billy Crystal will star alongside reliable scene-stealer Ben Schwartz.
Matt Ratner is making his directorial debut with the movie, with Peter Hoare writing the script. The story finds a struggling comedian living in Los Angeles (Schwartz) who is forced to move back home to Long Island. There, he finds an unusual kindred spirit in his alcoholic dermatologist (Crystal). We certainly haven't heard that one before.
The combo of comic voices should hopefully be a fertile one, and the cameras will roll next month in New York. Crystal last worked on drama Untogether, while Schwartz, a veteran of shows such as Parks And Recreation and House Of Lies has a few films on the way, including An Actor Prepares, Blue Iguana and Happy Anniversary.
