With the cameras now officially cranking, the long-anticipated second sequel Bill & Ted Face The Music is keeping the casting train rolling. Jillian Bell is the latest addition.
Face The Music finds Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (Keanu Reeves) yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, so the now middle-aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it and bring harmony to the universe. Along the way, they will be helped by their families, old friends and a few music legends.
Bell is playing Dr. Taylor Wood, a couples therapist who will look to help our heroes and their wives Elizabeth (Erinn Hayes) and Joanna (Jayma Mays). She joins a cast that already includes the returning likes of William Sadler, Hal Landon Jr., Amy Stoch plus fellow new franchise arrivals Samara Weaving, Brigette Lundy-Paine, Kid Cudi, Anthony Carrigan and Beck Bennett.
With Dean Parisot directing a script from original writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, the new Bill and Ted film will rock up into cinemas on 21 August next year.
