Does Bigfoot exist? And can the eternally re-visited creature of mystery continue to be a source for movies? Naturally.

The latest to capitalise on the creature’s fame is The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang, which stormed this year’s Slamdance film festival and scooped three wins, including Best Narrative Feature, Director (Tim Skousen) and Actor (Dodgeball’s Justin Long).

The film follows the misadventures of Gavin (Long) a nerd who thinks he’s found Bigfoot after locating some huge footprints in the woods. But he doesn’t count on some stupid neighbours hatching a scheme to turn a profit from the discovery.

Sony BMG, spotting a possible new Napoleon Dynamite, has agreed to release the film.
