Since it opened a few weeks ago, Gwyneth Paltrow's play Proof at the London Donmar Warehouse theatre has been one of the hottest tickets in town, attracting a celebrity audience every night. So it wasn't really a surprise when Empire Online spotted a trio of A-list Hollywood stars in the stalls this weekend. Just before the lights went down, a small kerfuffle at the edge of the stage alerted audience members that a VIP guest or two had arrived. Try to imagine if you will the excitement when it transpired that fresh from their turn at the Spider-Man premiere on Wednesday night, Kirsten Dunst, Tobey Maguire and Leonardo DiCaprio were in the house. An almighty battle then ensued between people trying to be very British and supercool about the whole thing, all the while knowing they were sitting next to Leonardo DiCaprio. We're sorry to report that British reserve lost out totally to the rubbernecking.
