Bell Toils For Von Trier

Jamie Bell has just landed the lead role in a film scripted by Lars von Trier. ScreenDaily.com reports that Bell will play the lead in Dear Wendy which is being directed by Thomas 'Festen' Vinterberg. The film, which begins shooting in Copenhagen in the next few weeks, focuses around Bell's character who, although a pacifist, is fascinated by guns. Naming his gun Wendy (go figure) he attracts a group who like him have pacifist leanings but are also troublingly preoccupied with firearms. Bell will be joined by Chris Owen
