Battle: Los Angeles Posters Online

One of the films to get a decent awareness bump at this year’s Comic-Con was alien invasion thriller Battle: Los Angeles, though that was largely because it was flying under the radar before the event. And the posters at the convention took a largely viral approach to marketing the movie, focusing on Sony’s Report Threats website to drive word on the movie. But now the posters are online for those who didn’t visit San Diego to see.

Battle: Los Angeles features Aaron Eckhart as a burnt-out Marine staff sergeant who must face his biggest challenge when unknown and devastating forces attack around the world and turn the streets of Los Angeles into a war zone.

He’ll have to rely on a group of unseasoned soldiers (and tech expert Michelle Rodriguez) to wage a guerrilla street conflict against seemingly insurmountable odds and an enemy they were never trained to fight.

The posters carry the back-story for the film: that the extraterrestrials have been sneakily visiting Earth for years to scout for the attack. Take a gander in our gallery and see whether they whet your appetite for the movie, which arrives March 25 next year (assuming it doesn't blink and move away from fellow Comic-Con breakout Sucker Punch).
