When the phrase “thesp-turned-screenwriter” springs into conversation, Kevin Pollack’s name is not one that generally follows. But the actor – last seen in Hostage – is aiming to change all that with 3 Nights In August.
The film is based on Buzz Bissinger’s book and follows a three-game baseball series between the St Louis Cardinals and the Chicago Cubs in 2003. Which means it has little of no chance of getting much of a wide release over here.
It’s not the first time Pollack has written, but his previous work has been limited to TV movies.
