One of the Great Unmades in cinema history is George Miller's Justice League film, which vanished into eternal limbo back in 2008 despite gathering its cast. A documentary about what happened has been in works for a while and now that film's director, Ryan Unicomb is looking to bring a little joy back into a scared world by sharing an image of one of the Batman cowls planned for Armie Hammer's Bruce Wayne.
It's a very different look for the Caped Crusader, though we'd figure he'd also be seen in the more traditional black outfit. And there's always a chance this is more of an unfinished costume test version.
Hammer was just one of the cast Miller had hired for Justice League: Mortal, which also included Adam Brody, Common, Teresa Palmer and Megan Gale. The director got close to shooting, but the movie was scuppered by a combination of budget issues and a writers strike. We all know what ended up happening with the Justice League on the big screen in the end...
