Internet rumourmongers can rest easy today with news that their instincts about Darren Aronofsky were right. The 31-year old, it transpires, will be sitting in the director's chair for Batman 5. News broke this afternoon (21 September 2000) on Variety that Warner Bros had assigned the job of taking Batman into the twenty-first century to the director best known for his ground-breaking 1998 feature Pi. Aronovsky will team up with Frank Miller for the project. Miller is the author of graphic novel Batman
