The movie gods have finally smiled on Terry Gilliam and granted him the chance of a fairy tale cast for his new film Brothers Grimm. Not only are big names Matt Damon and Heath Ledger lining up to play the titular brothers of the fable but Gilliam's only gone and got Robin Williams and Jonathan Pryce interested in the tale too. After his beloved project The Man Who Killed Don Quixote so grandly went belly up, Gilliam must be pleasantly surprised at the ease with which his new project is coming along. Although in development at MGM for two years, the comedic action adventure revolving around the legendary German brothers is now on the fast track and due to start shooting in Prague as soon as June. And with the addition of the sheer class and comedic talent of Pryce and Williams as the villains Cavaldi and Delatombe, Gilliam must be laughing his characteristic manic chuckle more than usual. But final negotiations to successfully bag the stars still have to be closed. With the budget and final casting all dependent on the busy Damon finding time to hop aboard the good ship Grimm, surely even Gilliam can't be that jinxed to lose this fantastic project too.
