More bad news for Di Caprio fans

Following yesterday's news that Leonardo Di Caprio is supposedly giving it all up to go and do good deeds in India for Mother Theresa's charity organisation, fans will be further disappointed to hear that rumours he was to star in All The Pretty Horses were incorrect. Instead, the Billy-Bob Thornton directed adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's novel will star Matt Damon. The Good Will Hunting star is set to land a cool $5.5 million to star in the adventure/love story, set in 1949. It follows the adventures of a young Texas cowboy who rides into Mexico and falls in love, High Chaparral-style, with the beautiful teenage daughter of a powerful Mexican landowner. (We tell you this in case you thought from the title it was a bizarre human-equine relationship thing). Rumours that Di Caprio is now to make All The Pretty Paupers are unfounded.
