"Remember that Halo movie?

The one that came tumbling down?

Even though Neill Blomkamp was director

It didn’t even make a sound

Well, Microsoft found a way to let it in

Like we ever really had a doubt

Standing in the light of their Halo

And all the cash it’d throw about

“We're going to make a movie when the time is right,”

Said Microsoft Game Studios' franchise development director Frank O'Connor.

“We own the IP. If we want to make a movie,

The scale of all the other stuff that we do changes dramatically.”

Although it’s early days yet

With no director or writer on board

The money generated by a Halo movie

Would make its existence seem assured

We could feel a Halo, Halo, Halo

We could see a Halo, Halo, Halo

We could feel a Halo, Halo, Halo

We could see a Halo, Halo, Halo.

At some point in the near future."
