When it comes to scoring Marvel standalones, it’s fair to say that the studio’s go-to guy is Brian Tyler. After his work on Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World and a new opening credits fanfare, Tyler graduated to work on Age Of Ultron with Danny Elfman. But Alan Silvestri has returned to claim the composing gauntlet (that’s one of the Infinity Stones, right?) for Avengers: Infinity War Parts I and II after creating the superheroes’ theme back in 2012.
Taking to his official website to announce the news, the twice Oscar-nominated Silvestri has created a staggering amount of iconic themes throughout his 40-year career, including Predator, Forrest Gump, Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Back To The Future.
With the Russo Brothers starting production on their back-to-back shoot this November, Avengers: Infinity War - Part I and II will arrive in May 2018 and May 2019, respectively. Confirmed titles for both films are still to be announced.
