After all the rumours about Avengers: Endgame's mammoth running time, we now have some more official confirmation. With tickets going on sale, the timing for the movie has been locked in as 3 hours, 2 minutes.

Yes, the epic conclusion to the current MCU storyline clearly needs room to breathe, since it sees the characters who survived the snap on a mission to sort things out.

The likes of Steve "Captain America" Rogers, Tony "Iron Man" Stark, Bruce "Hulk" Banner, Natasha "Black Widow" Romanoff, James "War Machine" Rhodes and Scott "Ant Man" Lang are knocked back by the events of Avengers: Infinity War, bereft in a world (and a universe) where 50% of the sentient population has been dusted out of existence. Can they reverse Thanos' actions with the help of old friends (Rocket Raccoon, Nebula) and new (Carol Danvers).

As we mentioned, tickets are now on sale for the movie, and to mark the day, Marvel has released a new TV spot. BE WARNED, however, that there are SPOILERS for scenes we figured would be included but were perfectly happy to wait and see in the movie. We only have a few weeks to wait and see the thing now, so our advice would be to hold off on viewing this one. But if you absolutely, positively have to see it, head here (because even the still image on the YouTube is a spoiler!)

Avengers: Endgame will be out in the UK on 25 April. To buy tickets for a double bill of both movies we're running with Picturehouse, go to this link.
