Though we're more used to seeing Asa Butterfield grapple with lustful hormones and school rules in Sex Education, he's switching to a different type of horror for a new movie. He'll co-star with someone who A) appears on a Netflix show and B) deals with different types of terror as Stranger Things' Natalia Dyer will also appear in horror pic All Fun And Games.
Plot details for the movie are thin on the ground at this point, but we do know it'll follow a group of siblings who get mixed up in a game with a demonic twist. Wordle? Has your time on screen arrived? Probably not.
Ari Costa and Eren Celeboglu are co-directing, having re-written an original spec script from JJ Braider, which ended up in the hands of Joe Russo and Anthony Russo's AGBO company. They'll co-produce alongside a company called Anton, which worked with Butterfield on upcoming thriller Curs>r, due out via Netflix this year. The rights to this new pic will be on sale at the European Film Market in Berlin, and we'd be shocked if Netflix didn't try to grab this one too.
