Able to move easily between the high profile likes of Lincoln, cult fare such as The Hateful Eight and TV including The Shield, Walton Goggins is someone people really want to work with. He'll now add his abilities to the MCU, joining the cast of Ant-Man And The Wasp.

With Peyton Reed once again directing, the superhero sequel to 2015's hit film will see the return of Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne, Michael Douglas' Hank Pym, Michael Pena playing Luis and T.I. as Dave. New arrivals this time include Randall Park and Hannah John-Kamen. As for what Goggins will be doing in the movie? Deadline has heard no details, but we could easily see him as a threat.

With shooting scheduled to kick off soon in Atlanta, we may have to wait for more, but with Marvel bringing its usual big presentation this Saturday to San Diego Comic-Con's Hall H, you've got to guess that Reed and co. might let slip some details there.

Ant-Man And The Wasp is due in the UK on 29 June next year before buzzing over to the States on 6 July. Goggins has a few other big movies on the way, including The Maze Runner: The Death Cure on 9 February and the new Tomb Raider on 16 March.
