Paul Scheuring, usually to be find running the writer’s room of his TV drama Prison Break, will shake loose the shackles of the show to script and direct a remake German thriller Das Experiment.
Surprisingly (okay, not) titled The Experiment, it’ll follow the basic plot of Oliver Hirschbeigel’s 2001 original, which saw a prison experiment descend into brutal violence when its subjects rage out of control.
Looks like Scheuring just can’t stay away from the slammer… He’ll kick off shooting next spring, but there’s no cast attached yet
