Slotting her name on to the list of actors looking to take a little more control over their career choices, Anne Hathaway is adding producer to her titles (alongside Princess, Hugh-Jackman-duetist, Fashionista and Cat Burglar), signing a deal to oversee and star in Puzzler for Paramount.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film is a paranoid thriller with overtones of Three Days Of The Condor. But there are no other details around yet as writer Karl Gajdusek, responsible for Nicolas Cage/Nicole Kidman home invasion pic Trespass, is still getting set to put it together.
Hathaway is going to be one of several producers, including Adam Schulman, Sarah Perlman and Stefan Sonnenfeld, who have a deal with the studio.
Given that it’s still at an early stage, Puzzler could be a ways away yet, so Hathaway will next crop up in The Dark Knight Rises as Selina Kyle, followed by her appearance as Fantine alongside Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe in Tom Hooper’s Les Miserables.
