Anna Kendrick tackled darker tones for A Simple Favour, but she's going even further into crime, murder and danger for a new film. She's on to star in director Bharat Nalluri's new thriller Unsound.
Matthew Ross and Christopher Edwards wrote the script for the movie, which will see Kendrick as a New England State trooper, privately struggling with irreversible hearing loss, who’s tasked with investigating the prison break of a notorious gang leader. As she digs deeper into the most dangerous case of her career, she uncovers a vast conspiracy that, coupled with her deteriorating condition, threatens to end her career – and her life...
She'll work on the indie thriller once she finishes work on streaming series Love Life, which she's also executive producing. She's also shot a comedy Dummy for short form app Quibi, and has two new films on the way – Chris Morris' The Day Shall Come and Noelle, with the Christmas comedy premiering in the US on Disney's own Disney} service.
