Netflix has certainly set its sights on Mars of late, even if the missions are not without issues – Away was cancelled after one season, and now Stowaway features a moral dilemma that, fortunately for the creators is actually part of the plot. Check out the trailer below.

Stowaway, co-written and directed by Joe Penna, is set on board a spaceship headed to the Red Planet when an unintended stowaway from among the ground crew (Shamier Anderson) accidentally causes severe damage to the vessel's life support systems. Facing dwindling resources and a potentially grim outcome, a medical researcher (Anna Kendrick) emerges as the only dissenting voice against the clinical logic of both her commander (Toni Collette) and the ship’s biologist (Daniel Dae Kim).
