Angelina Tackles The Bard

Usually we'd greet the news that yet another Hollywood actor was heading for the London stage with a heartfelt groan. But when we heard that the thesp in question was the radiant Angelina Jolie, we were a little more cheered. An Australian news site is reporting today that Angelina is planning to star as Ophelia in her brother James's production of Hamlet in the West End. 'I'm sure if she decides to play Ophelia she will be a success,' Jolie's Dad Jon Voight told the website. If true, the story would explain why James was in London last week to attend the UK premiere of Tomb Raider.
