Ang Lee vs The Hulk

Riding high on the phenomenal success of martial arts epic Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, director Ang Lee is in talks to lift green-skinned powerhouse The Incredible Hulk from the pages of the comic book and send him crashing onto the screen. The latest director to take a steed from the Marvel Comics stable, Lee has reportedly been lured to Hulk by the freshly re-vamped script from X-Men scribe David Hayter. The story concerns research scientist Bruce Banner who, after having been caught in a nuclear explosion, finds himself subject to the worst temper tantrums in history. When subjected to undue stress, he undergoes a transformation and becomes the bad-tempered monster that is the Hulk.
