In the US, some lucky audiences will get the chance to see special Anchorman 2 teaser footage before their screenings of The Dictator – footage already in the can to wet our whistles like three fingers of Glenlivet – while the rest of us will have to wait until it comes online. Still, we can console ourselves with this new poster of the Channel 4 news team.
Sure, it's just Brick, Brian, Champion and Ronald, lined up in a row, shoes staring into the distance, but there's something about it. Something... newsworthy. You know, aside from the fact that a couple of the guys appear on only have one leg.
Ah, that's it – it's the name. It seems that McKay and Ferrell are forgoing the Anchorman 2 tag that the sequel's been dubbed so far, instead calling it Anchorman: The Legend Continues. Something that makes sense, as the original film's full name was, of course,** Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy**.
And just in case you missed it – not likely, admittedly – here's Mr. Burgundy's announcement on Conan from a few months ago.
