Amber Heard Has Paranoia

After spending a few years kicking its heels in development, corporate thriller Paranoia finally seemed to hit the ground running in April when it was announced that Harrison Ford, Gary Oldman and Liam Hemsworth were attached to star. It looks like they’ll be joined by The Ward’s Amber Heard as Variety reports she’s now set to take part.

Killers director Robert Luketic is overseeing a script that is currently credited to Jason Dean Hall, and adapts Joseph Finder’s titular novel.

Paranoia finds Hemsworth as a blue-collar type who makes a serious mistake as he tries to get ahead and move on from his dull entry-level job. His boss strikes him a deal: the boss won’t turn him in if our hero agrees to infiltrate the competition for a little corporate espionage.

Heard will enter the story as a woman he sleeps with on a one-night stand, but who becomes much more important to him when he discovers that she works for the very rival he’s trying to spy on.

With the cameras scheduled to start cranking next month, Paranoia is set to his US screens on September 27 next year and will likely arrive here around the same time or shortly after.
