It would seem there’s going to be a change in **Ted **(Seth MacFarlane) and John Bennett’s (Mark Wahlberg) life for MacFarlane’s sequel to his successful talking bear movie. Deadline is reporting that Amanda Seyfried is now set to star opposite the Thunder Buddies.

What this means for Ted co-star Mila Kunis – who is a core part of the MacFarlane comedy troupe thanks to her work on Family Guy – remains to be seen, but it points to the possibility of the sequel’s plot splitting up John and Lori and Seyfried’s character entering his life. Of course, it’s all speculation for now: MacFarlane is still at work on the script with his regular co-writers while also finishing up the post-production on his film for this year, A Million Ways To Die In The West. Seyfried, of course, is in the comedy Western, playing Louise, who ditches farmer Albert (MacFarlane) when he ducks out of a gunfight.

Seyfried reuniting with the writer/director/actor suggests that Ted 2 is now firmly in the works and still set to arrive next year via Universal. When we talked to Mark Wahlberg on the Empire Podcast last year, he shared his enthusiasm for the sequel, so take a listen below…** A Million Ways To Die In The West** will be with us on June 6.
