No "I've got a lot of apologies to make" voiceover, no bustling through the crowds, no Guy Pearce, no Rebecca Hall, no Mandarin cracking his knuckles – this new Japanese Iron Man 3 trailer is short, sweet, and to the point: there be explosions. Oh, and quips.
So yes, there's not a huge amount new here, but the way it's been recut is interesting, and there's a smidge more Pepper Potts – "Honey, I'm home!" – which is always a good thing.
In other words, if you've been clicking the replay button over and over on the original **Iron Man 3 **teaser trailer from back in late October (see below), then this could be the substitute to satiate your cravings for Ol' Shell-head for a little while longer.
Iron Man 3, of course, stars Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow as well as newcomers Kingsley and Pearce. Shane Black has taken over directing duties from Jon Favreau this time, and the film's out in the UK a week earlier than in the States, on April 26.
