Alba Damned

How you must have cried when you heard that sci-fi TV series Dark Angel would no longer grace our screens. But wait, there's hope for you yet as Jessica Alba - the leather-clad and decidedly attractive transgenic heroine who comprised the sole reason for watching the show - will continue her arse-kickage on the big screen. Based on a comic book (aren't they all nowadays?) called Beautiful Killer, the film will see Alba as a lethal lass, bent on exacting bloody vengeance after her parents are killed for their involvement in espionage. The title will be getting an overhaul and the comic's slightly thin plotting spruced up for a film aimed to follow in Nikita's footsteps. According to the Alba, the film "is very cool, dark material that at its core is about a girl who loses her family to mysterious killers, flees and ultimately chooses to exact revenge." Don't be surprised if tight-fitting leather catsuits also play a large role.
