A crime thriller

Adrian Lyne, the man who directed Fatal Attraction and Nine ½ Weeks (and, more recently, Unfaithful) is switching from lust to crime for his next film.

He’s been attached to Warner Brothers’ Prince Of Thieves, which will be adapted from Chuck Hogan’s novel. **The Longest Yard **remake writer Sheldon Turner is the man charged with scripting the story of four men being tracked through Boston by an FBI agent, and the femme fatale who might just be the end of them all. There's no casting yet, but we just hope Kevin Costner - and particularly Bryan Adams - are nowhere near the set after the last film with a similar title.

Turner and Lyne had been developing the thriller Two Minutes To Midnight, which sees a divorce lawyer forced to try and rescue his wife by 11:58pm (hence the title), but Lyne dropped out of the project. Now it looks like they’ve found an excuse to work together again – though let’s see it through to the end, eh, lads?
