Creed II – Exclusive

If Michael B. Jordan's Adonis Johnson thought his past was influencing his present (and future) in Creed, that's ramped up to a whole new level for sequel Creed II. The new trailer for the movie is online.

Creed II finds Adonis embracing his destiny as a boxer. With Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) by his side as his trainer, Adonis must balance personal obligations (especially to Tessa Thompson's Bianca and the child they've had together since we last saw them) and training, and this time finds himself plunged into a clash that has major resonance for his family.

This time, he's going up against the son of Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren), the man responsible for Apollo Creed's demise. Painfully personal, then. With the emphasis on painful.

Phylicia Rashad, Wood Harris and Andre Ward are all returning, while Viktor Drago is played by Florian "The Big Nasty" Munteanu. Steven Caple Jr. takes over directing chores from Ryan Coogler, who is an executive producer on the movie.

Creed II is out in the States on 21 November before heading over here on 30 November.
