Adam Sandler received some of the best reviews of his career – for good reason – thanks to his work with filmmakers Benny and Josh Safdie on 2019's Uncut Gems. So it's not surprising to learn that he's reuniting with them for another film.

Talking to EW, Sandler let slip that he'll star in another movie for the directing brothers, though naturally preferred to keep the details quiet for now.

"They're working hard on it," Sandler says. "Their work ethic is bananas. They're always working, always writing, always thinking. I don't know what I can tell you, but it's gonna be very exciting. It's different. But I don't want them to ever say, 'What the hell did you tell him that for?' So I'll just let them talk about it."

Uncut Gems saw Sandler as Howard Ratner, motormouth New York City jeweler, basketball fan, and compulsive gambler who gets into real trouble.

Before that, though, he has the likes of sports comedy drama Hustle, sci-fi pic Spaceman and, for the Sand-Man fans, Netflix sequel Murder Mystery 2 on the way.
