Actor Digs Deep For Kosovans

As the NATO bombs continue to pelt down on Kosovon soil and refugees in their thousands flee the war-torn country, their pleas for help have not gone unnoticed in the far away world of Hollywood. Paul Newman has stated that he's giving $250,000 to Catholic Relief Services to assist refugees and others suffering in the Balkan crisis. Paving the way for others to hopefully follow suit the actor said in a statement, "It is our hope that by giving this donation to the Kosovo refugees, we will set an example that other corporations will follow to alleviate the plight of these unfortunate people."
