Set in a school where the problems include a dysfunctional group of teachers, a raucous student group and some real budget cuts putting jobs on the line, the story finds Day as mild-mannered English teacher Andy Campbell who must man up when his feared colleague, Ron Strickland (Cube), at his less-than-top-notch school challenges him to a good old-fashioned punch-up over a perceived sleight. But could the looming conflict actually end up helping Andy and the school? We'll have to see...
Whether the idea can sustain a whole comedy movie is something for the film itself to prove, but the cast is also loaded down with reliably entertaining folk, including Tracy Morgan, Jillian Bell, Christina Hendricks and Dean Norris.
