A couple of months ago you may recall Jerry Bruckheimer telling Empire Online that he was rather keen to get a sequel to his box-office romper Pirates of the Caribbean underway. 'The key is to get the same team, starting with the writers, and then Gore and all the actors,' he told us back in July. Happily for Jerry the gods of scheduling have been gazing down benevolently in his direction for we hear today that Gore Verbinski, Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightly and Pirates screenwriters Terry Rossio and Ted Elliott are all on aboard for a Pirates sequel. There's no start date as yet, but we're already polishing up our cutlasses for another blockbusting outing on the high seas.
All Aboard!
