The Witch and The Northman director Robert Eggers is already hard at work shooting his next film, but that doesn't mean there aren't casting announcements to report. According to Deadline, Aaron Taylor-Johnsonis aboard Eggers' Nosferatu.
A new version of the vampire tale originally shot by FW Murnau in 1922 (and based, of course, on Dracula), this Nosferatu already stars Lily-Rose Depp, Bill Skarsgard, Nicholas Hoult, Willem Dafoe and Emma Corrin.
The story is a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman (Depp) in 19th century Germany and the ancient Transylvanian vampire (Skarsgard) who stalks her, bringing untold horror with him.
And Taylor-Johnson isn't alone in joining the cast – Eggers is also adding Simon McBurney and reuniting with Ralph Ineson, who appeared in both The Witch and The Northman. The director is filming in Prague, but the movie has yet to lock down a release date.
