Having shown off some action skills in the likes of Kick-Ass and Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Aaron Taylor-Johnson is looking to become an assassin alongside Brad Pitt in director David Leitch's Bullet Train.
The film is adapting Kôtarô Isaka's novel Maria Beetle and while the film's exact plot has yet to be specified, the story sees five assassins finding themselves on a fast-moving bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka with only a few stops in between. They discover their missions are linked to one another. The question becomes, who will make it off the train alive and what awaits them at the terminal station?
Joey King and Warrior's Andrew Koji are also aboard, with Zak Olkewicz writing the script under Leitch's supervision. Sony is hoping to that this one can start shooting soon, especially since the film shoots mostly on a stage where Covid safety protocols can be set up.
Taylor-Johnson will next be seen in The King's Man, which was recently pushed back to February next year.
