Ang Lee's adaptation of Yann Martel's Man Booker prize-winning novel has shown us trailers, banners and clips so far, but today something rather special has arrived online from team Life Of Pi, and that's these three beautiful one-sheets we've got for you below.
Telling the tale of Molitor "Pi" Patel, a boy whose family owned a zoo in Pondicherry, India, before moving to Canada with his friends and animals. At least, that was the plan – a fierce storm put pay to that idea, with Pi set adrift in a lifeboat with a tiger, a hyena, an orangutan and a wounded zebra.
There on in, some pretty fantastical things happen, including a whale leaping over their raft and Pi's tiger companion – whose name is Richard Parker, by the by – suddenly talking.
For more details and some glimpses of how Lee has taken a seemingly unfilmable book and turned it into a 3D spectacular, cast your eyes over this nifty featurette.
And despite what these American posters may tell you, Life Of Pi is out in the UK on December 20.
