27 Dresses director Anne Fletcher has signed on for another rom-com, this time the already-announced The Proposal, starring Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock.
The story sees Bullock, a high-powered publishing executive, force her assistant (Reynolds) to marry her in order to prevent her deportation to Canada. Complications, comedy and romance no doubt ensue.
Fletcher, who got her start as a choreographer and worked on the routines in Bring It On and, far more impressively, the Age of Aquarius number in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, intends to introduce more physical comedy into the film, cause she reckons both leads will be good at it. Well, fingers crossed.
