Justice League

With less than a month to go before the assembled heroes of Justice League arrive on screens to show what they can do as a unit, there's a short new trailer online, featuring the best look yet at the movie's villain, Steppenwolf, played (via performance capture) by Ciarán Hinds. Check it out below.

The film, as you'll likely know by now, features Ben Affleck's Batman and Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman looking to continue the legacy of Henry Cavill's Superman, who gave his life in the fight against evil. With a dark and dangerous threat (Steppenwolf may only be the herald) on the way, they gather other super-powered folk, including Jason Momoa's Aquaman, Ezra Miller's The Flash and Ray Fisher's Cyborg to join the fight... Assuming they can work as a cohesive team.

And though his presence isn't felt in this trailer, the nods towards the Man Of Steel continue, such as in the film's new poster...

Finally, if you were wondering what the movie's soundtrack – composed primarily this time by superhero theme veteran Danny Elfman – would sound like, the first track is now online.

Justice League hits our screens on 17 November.
