Watching the Oscars last night, you might have noticed host Jimmy Kimmel having a gernerous amount of fun at the expense of Matt Damon. It began with a rib about The Great Wall ("He gave Manchester By The Sea to his childhood friend and made a Chinese ponytail movie instead. Smart move, dumbass.") and only got worse from there. For the uninitiated, this is the continuation of a gag that's been running on Jimmy Kimmel Live for more than a decade and you can catch up on the complete history of the pair's 'feud' below.

Back when Jimmy Kimmel Live! wasn’t booking first-rate guests the way it does today, the presenter threw in an on-going joke. He would close every show saying they had run out of time for the final guest, Matt Damon. When Damon finally made his Live! debut things went from bad to worse.

Prior to the release of The Bourne Ultimatum, Kimmel aired his own special version of the trailer.

Damon returns fire with the help of Kimmel’s then-girlfriend Sarah Silverman, unveiling the now famous spoof track Fucking Matt Damon, which has since racked up more than 16 million views.
