As Peter Parker’s Uncle Ben once said, with great power comes great responsibility. And now, the responsibility is yours: Empire is producing a brand new list of the 100 Greatest Movies Of All Time, and we want your votes. We’re asking for your personal top 20 lists, the films that represent your own unique cinematic perspective – spanning genres, decades, nations and mediums.
It’s a lot to think about, so you’ll have two weeks to submit your lists – voting closes on 15 October. In the meantime, there’s plenty to stew on. What are your reliable comfort films? Which movies challenged you? Which ones blew your mind? What made you see things you never though you’d see, or had you feeling things in a completely different way? Which old favourites feel just as alive today as they did decades ago on release? What pioneering classics continue to shape cinema as we know it today? And what recent releases immediately punch through as all-time-greats, and should get their plaudits sooner rather than later?
We want live-action, animation, documentaries, three-hour epics, sub-90-minute masterpieces, international movies, and everything in between.
Need some inspiration? Read the current 100 Greatest Movies list here. But remember: this is a new rundown, a clean slate, so let go of all preconceptions, dig deep, get personal, explore the breadth and depth of 100-odd years of movie history, and submit the top 20 list that feels right to you on our Google Form.

A few housekeeping notes:

– One submission per person, please.
