His career is on fire right now thanks to Black Panther, but Chadwick Boseman won't just be seen in Marvel movies. He's scored a new lead role in an action thriller called 17 Bridges.
With Game Of Thrones director Brian Kirk calling the shots from Adam Mervis' script, 17 Bridges will find Boseman as a disgraced NYPD officer who is thrust into a citywide hunt for a cop killer, and finds a chance at redemption.
The movie also reunites Boseman with Joe and Anthony Russo, who kicked off his Marvel run with Captain America: Civil War and – spoiler alert for the five people and a badger named Gary who have yet to watch the movie – ended it (for now) in Avengers: Infinity War. They'll produce the new movie via their AGBO production company, and the cameras should be rolling this September.
Boseman is scheduled to appear in the next Avengers film, due out on 26 April next year and has a few other projects in development.
