Despite last years Star Wars Lego being a family game, UK developer Travellers Tales achieved the impossible by creating an adventure that charmed rookie players and hardcore fans alike. With the sequel, the coders have taken the cute franchise to sublime new heights.
Based on Episodes IV to VI, it improves on every aspect of its predecessor: the difficulty now adapts to match your playing style, allowing gamers of all skill levels to savour the swashbuckling; there are over 100 characters to unlock, each with their own signature moves; and the quest now features a free-roaming, open-ended structure, rather than shoving players down narrow, pre-defined routes. Nothing revolutionary, but the Force is still strong in this one.
