Alien: Covenant, of course, represents Ridley Scott's return to the territory he first charted in the original Xenomorph movie and more recently with Prometheus. The story finds the crew of the eponymous colony ship find that their destination is more than a little terrifying. But let's be honest here: if you're on a ship in this universe, do you really expect everything to go well?
The likes of Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Carmen Ejogo and James Franco make up part of the crew this time with Michael Fassbender returning to play two roles this time – David, who we met in Prometheus, and fellow android Walter. Scheduled screaming, running and dying will start on 12 May in the UK and 19 May in the States, but before that, we're promised a new trailer this week.
