2015's Daddy's Home reunited The Other Guys duo Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg for the story of a stepdad (Ferrell) challenged by the more masculine former husband (Wahlberg) of his new wife (Linda Cardellini). The sequel sees that dynamic largely settled, but introduces the very different dads of the main pair as Christmas approaches. The first trailer for the imaginatively-titled Daddy's Home 2 is now online.

This time, the problems comes from Kurt (Mel Gibson), Dusty's even tougher father, who has no time for the changes his son has gone through. Then there's Brad's father (John Lithgow), a man who never met an emotion he didn't want to experience, and who seems to have a very close relationship with his son.

The first look at the movie really just sets up the new story and introduces us to the new dads. But director Sean Anders (who also wrote the script with regular partner John Morris) is no doubt aiming to convince us that comedy chaos is just around the corner.

Daddy's Home 2 will be out on 22 November.
