It's probably a little late to save yourself if you haven't seen M. Night Shyamalan's Split, but just in case... Spoiler Alert! At the end of this year's James McAvoy-starring multiple personality thriller, it was revealed that the movie takes place in the same universe as his comic book-riffing 2000 film Unbreakable. Now, the writer/director has taken to Twitter to announce that a film acting as a sequel to both of them, Glass, will arrive next year starring Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, McAvoy and Split co-star Anya Taylor-Joy.

While he hasn't revealed anything about the actual story, Shyamalan addressed the fact that this will finally answer the nearly two decades' worth of questions about an Unbreakable sequel, featuring Willis' seemingly invulnerable David Dunn and Jackson's Elijah Price/Mr Glass, who at the end of Unbreakable is revealed to be his nemesis. They'll somehow interact with McAvoy's Split character, who boasted some seriously powerful abilities along with his various personalities. And then there will be Taylor-Joy's Casey Cooke, who showed off some powers of her own at the end of Split.

Glass will be produced by Jason Blum's Blumhouse Productions and with the script completed, the film now has a release date...

So... Yes. After all this time, we'll finally properly catch up with the Unbreakable duo and discover the next chapter of Kevin/Barry/Patricia/The Beast's etc story along with Casey.
