The 9th Life Of Louis Drax poster

The film tells the story of Louis, a boy who has thus far survived eight seemingly suspicious accidents. But the latest has left him in a coma (Aiden Longworth from Hector And The Search For Happiness) whose mental journeys tease some striking visuals as his mind protects itself by projecting fantastic imagery. By his bedside is Jamie Dornan’s neurologist, Dr. Allan Pascal, who fights to awaken him from his comatose state. The twist? Louis’s injured state may not have been an accident at all. Aaron Paul, Louis’ dad, is prime suspect after the clifftop fall that now threatens his life.

The poster continues the movies themes of twisted reality and dream-like visions, and Alexandre Aja is the man bringing those visions to life as director, with a script by Max Minghella, who took the project over when his father Anthony died before he could make the film. Sarah Gadon, Molly Parker, Oliver Platt and Barbara Hershey fill out the other main roles and the film will be out in the UK on September 9.
