Work has been under way for a while on the latest collaboration between Marvel and fellow Disney arm ABC, a series based on the powerful Inhumans characters. The first teaser poster for the show is now online.
With an ambitious, unusual launch planned – the first two hours of the series will screen in IMAX cinemas across the pond ahead of the rest of the series kicking off on TV in the autumn – the show marks an attempt to generate interest in a property that isn't as well know as the likes of the Avengers.
And it'll be a bigger-scale look at the characters compared the what has been possible on Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Anson Mount is starring as Black Bolt, the King of the Inhumans with a voice so powerful he can destroy a city with a whisper. Ken Leung plays Karnak, his cousin and closest advisor, who has the ability to see the fault in everything. They lead a cast that also includes Iwan Rheon, Serinda Swan, Mike Moh, Isabelle Cornish, Sonya Balmores and Ellen Woglom.
The US IMAX launch for the show is set for September 1, but there's no sign yet of when the show might air in the UK.
