We've had to wait a while for the new season of Fargo, which is finally headed to screens this spring. And to herald the show's return, a teaser for Season 3 has popped up on the show's official Twitter feed. Take the first look at Ewan McGregor, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Carrie Coon in the footage.

This is just one of McGregor's roles in the show: he's playing twin brothers Emmit and Ray Stussy. Emmit is handsome, confident and has conquered the real estate market in Minnesota. Younger brother Ray, on the other hand, is a flabby parole officer who blames his sibling for his bad luck. So this would be Ray in the teaser, then, alongside Winstead's Nikki, a crafty and alluring recent parolee.

Coon, meanwhile, is Gloria Burgle, a practical woman who grabs the fire extinguisher when the bacon catches fire and everyone else panics. The chief of police in Edna Valley and a newly divorced mother, she struggles to understand this new world around her where people connect more intimately with their phones than the people directly in front of them.

Set in 2010, the season will start on US screens on 19 April and hopefully should hit the UK soon after that.
