Dwayne Johnson Protects The Beach In Two New Baywatch Trailers

Baywatch (2017)

The team behind the Baywatch movie is clearly trying to have its bronzed hunk/bikini babe cake and alternate those layers with creamy comedy filling. Two new trailers for the Dwayne Johnson-starring film have arrived, and you can find them on this very page. Oh, and be ready for some salty language within, mostly from Mr. J.

These two new glimpses of the film are fairly similar, but there are different chunks of footage sprinkled within. The basic story is that of Johnson's Mitch Buchanan leading his team of lifeguards in an unconventional style, widening their scope to include some extremely risky law-enforcing. Much to the frustration of the local police, of course.

Faced with budget crunches, Buchanan's bosses recruit the showy, charismatic Matt Brody (Zac Efron), who comes bearing rippling abs, two gold medals and something of a bad boy attitude. Buchanan isn't convinced at the start, but with the scheming Victoria Leeds (Priyanka Chopra) upping the crime levels in the area, they'll be forced to work together.

With Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Ilfenesh Hadera, Rob Huebel and Jon Bass on the team, Baywatch will surf into our cinemas on 12 May.
