Thor: Ragnarok has just finished principle photography, and director Taika Waititi, along with star Tessa Thompson and some guy named Chris Hemsworth (who is also involved,, apparently) celebrated the end of this phase of work on a movie with a Facebook Live video, which you can find right here.

While not a lot of information is revealed in the video – Marvel obviously doesn't want them letting slip much of anything just yet – Waititi did reveal an actor playing a character named Miek, who appears in the Planet Hulk comic book storyline. And there are people playing "Scrappers", working in a junkyard full of crashed ships.

The highlight, however, is the humour, as the video is laced with typical dry Waititi laughs, admitting that he could be fired now and revealing that the film will go "straight to VHS" and we'll all have to pass the one copy around. Novel strategy!

Thor: Ragnarok will be released on 27 October next year. hopefully in cinemas. So, Taika... Get on with it.
